Upload your logo once via Settings
Open Settings → Brand Logo and upload your logo as a PNG (transparent background recommended). Done — every Watermark job from here on uses it. Skip this if you only want to watermark a single video; the Watermark tool also accepts a one-off upload.

Open Watermark in the Tools page
Click Tools in the sidebar, then Watermark. The tool accepts mp4, mov, mkv, webm and most common video formats.

Drop in your video and pick options
Position: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right or center. Size: 1–25% of the video width (8% is a good default). Opacity: 10–100% (60–80% is the sweet spot — visible but not dominant).

Render the watermarked mp4
Click Render. ViralMint runs a single FFmpeg overlay pass at the original resolution — no re-encoding loss beyond the unavoidable single re-render. Output saves to your output folder; original is untouched.

Frequently asked
Why does ViralMint not add its own watermark?
Because that's the antithesis of what a watermark tool is supposed to do. The point of running this tool is to brand YOUR video with YOUR logo — adding a 'Made with ViralMint' overlay would defeat the purpose. The desktop app is free, your output is yours.
What logo file format works best?
PNG with transparent background is ideal — the watermark sits cleanly over your video without a background box. JPEG works but you'll see a rectangle around the logo. SVG is converted to PNG automatically at upload time. Recommended size: 200–400px wide; ViralMint scales to fit the per-job size setting.
Will the watermark survive YouTube re-encoding?
Yes. YouTube re-encodes every upload to its own internal codec, but the watermark is baked into the video frames themselves — not metadata or a separate stream. It survives the re-encode at any quality setting.
Can I watermark audio (not video)?
Audio watermarking is a different problem (typically inaudible signal embedding for tracking). The Watermark tool is video-only. If you want to add an attribution audio cue, the Voiceover tool can append one.
Can I batch-watermark a folder of videos?
Drop multiple files in sequence — each is a separate job and they queue automatically. The Jobs page shows progress for all of them.
