Does this work on every TikTok video?
No — it works when the post carries a caption track. TikTok does not attach one to every video, and posts without captions return nothing rather than a guess. For those, download the video and use ViralMint's local Whisper transcription instead.
Can I choose the caption language?
You can request one, but TikTok posts usually publish a single track. If the language you asked for isn't there, ViralMint downloads the track that is and tells you which one it used.
Is this different from transcribing the audio?
