Audit your channel and get a grounded content plan

Claude pulls your recent uploads, extracts the hook, structure and tone of each, compares them against what's breaking out in your niche, and tells you exactly what to make next — with the reasons. Then it can make it for you.

You type

Analyze my last 5 uploads and tell me what to post next.

…and Claude drives the whole pipeline below on your machine.

Why this beats a blank script box

01

Evidence, not horoscopes

Every recommendation cites the videos behind it — your real hooks, structures and view counts — so you know why, not just what.

02

Your data × the niche's data

It compares your patterns against current breakouts in your niche, so the plan is both true to your channel and aimed at what's working right now.

03

From audit to upload in one thread

Once Claude knows what to make, it can run the topic-to-viral-short skill and actually produce it — analysis and execution in the same conversation.

How Claude audits a channel

  1. Pull your recent uploads

list_channel_videos returns your last N videos with view counts and outlier-tier metadata — no manual scraping.

  2. Decode each video's pattern

analyze_competitor extracts the hook, structure and tone of each upload from its transcript, so the audit is based on what you actually did — not vibes.

  3. Compare against what's breaking out

find_breakouts surfaces outliers in your niche so Claude can contrast your patterns with what's currently overperforming.

  4. Hand you a grounded plan

Claude synthesizes 2–3 specific next-video ideas with the evidence — 'your question-hooks beat statement-hooks 3:1, do one this week on X' — and can pin it with pin_strategy_note so it persists.

Connect it in 4 steps

  1. Install ViralMint

Download the free, open-source desktop app (macOS / Windows / Linux) and open it. It bundles the whole pipeline — yt-dlp, Whisper, FFmpeg — and the MCP server.

  2. Open the in-app MCP page

It shows your loopback endpoint and a bearer token, with a ready-to-paste Claude Code command and a JSON config snippet for Cursor / Claude Desktop.

  3. Add the server to your agent

Paste the command. Your client loads ViralMint's tools, the built-in workflow recipes (this skill is one) and read-only resources like your balance and recent videos.

  4. Ask for the outcome

Type the prompt above. Claude runs the recipe end-to-end against the local app and hands you the finished mp4 — no clicking through the UI.

Frequently asked

What do I need to connect?

Connect your YouTube or TikTok channel in the app (or paste a handful of video URLs). Claude will list connected channels and ask which one to audit.

How many videos does it need?

Five recent uploads is a good sample. With fewer than three, Claude will tell you the pattern analysis isn't statistically meaningful yet.

Does it just dump transcripts at me?

No — the recipe explicitly synthesizes across videos into a short, actionable plan with cited sources. The value is the synthesis, not the raw data.

Can it then make the recommended video?

Yes. It chains straight into the Topic → Viral Short skill, so the same conversation that diagnosed the gap can fill it.
